Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) is the first Veterinary University in Asian Continent. The meritorious performance of the University in education, research and extension in the field of agricultural sciences including veterinary, animal and fisheries sciences in the country accomplished to bag this coveted prestigious "Sardar Patel Outstanding ICAR Institution Award-2011"award among 63 agricultural and veterinary universities. It is more gracious that the website is released while the University is celebrating its 25th Year of Service in the Silver Jubilee Year 2014.
